A tandem skydive is the easiest and safest way to experience the thrill of freefall without the responsibility of having to save your own life! A tandem skydive is basically a thrill ride that you can experience after only twenty minutes of training. You will be harnessed to the front of a British Parachute Association accredited and insured tandem instructor and conveyed to approx three miles above mother earth. Here the fun really starts as you sit in the doorway of the plane, grin at your cameraman and embark on the greatest thrill of your life.
60 seconds of freefall....
You will be treated to around sixty seconds of the rush of freefall. The air rushing by you at 120mph as you smile at your cameraman, high five him and enjoy the spectacular view. The feeling is indescribable, you really gotta be there!
Nothing could prepare you for this, arms spread wide, the ground looks so beautiful from up here, it's a whole new dimension! It's way beyond what you expected! Such a rush and yet so calming at the same time, if only you could bottle this!!!! I've NEVER felt soooo ALIVE!!!!! TAP, TAP (that's the instructor letting me know it's time to fold my arms whilst he deploys the parachute). Wow, suddenly it's so quiet and peacefull.....
Serene ride back to earth by parachute
This is amazing, hanging calmly in the harness soaking up the awesome views. Now the parachute is open my instructor is pointing out all the sights and offering me the toggles to steer the parachute! This feels as good as the freefall, swooping through the air whooping till my lungs hurt!
What a rush!!!!!!
